Scheduling
In Dataforce ASAP, there are multiple tools available to facilitate the process of scheduling appointments:
Manual methods of scheduling
- Fieldworker Schedules - view every fieldworker’s timetable and reschedule appointments by drag and drop - move them to a new time or fieldworker, resize them, or drag them to and from the waiting list
- Smart Scheduler - Provides an assisted method of scheduling by suggesting time slots determined most suitable for the appointment, based on current schedule, travel distance, etc.
- Manual Scheduler - manually select any date, timeslot, fieldworker and duration for a single appointment on one screen, with the current booking pre-selected. This method also provides the ability to modify the work type of an appointment.
- Reschedule Board - bulk rescheduling: find appointments, drop them onto a fieldworker’s timeslots or the waiting list, and save all the changes in one confirmed batch
Automatic methods of scheduling
- Automatic Scheduling - Provides an automated method for scheduling an appointment through selected answers on the job or parent appointment
- Waiting List Bulk Scheduler - Provides a method for automatically scheduling multiple appointments with a ‘Waiting’ status
When Automatic Scheduling is configured, an appointment can either be placed in a waiting list, scheduled to a Field Worker or ignored. Once a Field Worker has appointments assigned to them, they can view and complete them from a mobile device using Dataforce Runabout.
Viewing Schedules
In addition to the above tools mentioned under Scheduling, there are a number of other ways to view Field Worker schedules:
- Fieldworker Schedules - Field Workers’ schedules in a calendar layout, with a day navigation bar, driving routes and per-day printing.
- Fieldworker Locations - a map of each Field Worker’s last known position today.
- Schedule Distribution - view, download and send individual Field Workers’ schedules in a tabular format.
